PARTICIPANT AGREEMENT & RELEASE OF LIABILITY

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: THIS IS A LEGALLY BINDING AGREEMENT. BY SIGNING THIS DOCUMENT, YOU ARE WAIVING OR RESTRICTING CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS.

1. Voluntary Participation 

I acknowledge that I have voluntarily applied to participate in events organised by "The Dad Social Ltd." I understand that these events may involve physical exertion and sporting activities.

​

2. Assumption of Risk 

I am aware that participating in activities such as go-karting, football, hiking, and other active events carries inherent risks of injury. I knowingly and freely assume all such risks, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of others, and assume full responsibility for my participation.

​

3. Medical Fitness 

I confirm that I am physically fit and have no medical condition that would prevent my full participation in these activities. I agree to remove myself from participation if I sense any hazard or if I feel unable to continue safely.

​

4. Release of Liability Waiver of Claims: 

The Member agrees to waive, release, and hold harmless The Dad Social Ltd, its officers, officials, agents, and employees from all claims, demands, losses, or damages to person or property that may arise from their participation in the Activities, except as otherwise provided below.

UK Law Exception: 

Nothing in this agreement shall exclude or limit The Dad Social Ltd's liability for:

• Death or personal injury caused by the negligence of The Dad Social Ltd or its staff.

• Any matter for which it would be illegal for The Dad Social Ltd to exclude or attempt to exclude its liability.

 

Subject to the above exception, the Member accepts full responsibility for any loss or damage whatsoever arising from their participation.

 

The Member agrees to indemnify and hold harmless The Dad Social Ltd from any and all liabilities, costs, claims, or demands (including reasonable legal fees) arising from any injury or damage to any third party resulting from the Member’s actions, behaviour, or participation in the Activities.

5. Photography & Media Release 

I grant "The Dad Social Ltd" permission to use photographs, video recordings, or other media of me taken during events for use in publications, website content, and social media marketing (Instagram/LinkedIn) to promote the club.

​

6. Code of Conduct 

I agree to conduct myself in a respectful manner towards all other members and venue staff. I understand that The Dad Social Ltd reserves the right to terminate my participation if my behavior is deemed unsafe or disruptive.

​

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction 

This Agreement and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The parties irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with this Agreement.

I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, AND SIGN IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY.
